Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 6, 2026

Triggerwave ("we", "us", "our") operates the mobile game Tile Shatter (the "Game"). This page describes what data is collected when you use the Game, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have.

1. Data We Collect

We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number or contacts, and we do not collect your precise location. The Game does not require an account or login.

The following data is collected automatically while you play, through the third-party services described below:

2. Data Stored on Your Device

Your progress (the game you are in the middle of, your best score, the puzzle levels you have solved, how many tries the level you are on has taken, the daily puzzle you have finished, and the puzzle you last unlocked a hint for) and your settings (sound, music and the look you have chosen, with the skins you have collected) are saved locally on your device, as are how long you have played in all and when the Game last asked you to rate it, which decide when it may ask, and when an ad was last shown and how many games you have played since, which decide when the next full-screen ad may be shown. They are never transmitted to us, and deleting the Game deletes them. When the Game does ask, the rating window is Google Play's or the App Store's own: the Game is not told whether you rated it or what you chose.

3. Advertising

The Game is free and shows ads: full-screen ads between games, and video ads you can choose to watch for a puzzle hint or to continue a game. They are served through Unity LevelPlay, which chooses ads from advertising networks including ironSource Ads and Unity Ads. These services receive the device information, advertising identifier, approximate location and ad interactions described above, to show ads, measure them, prevent fraud and, where you allow it, personalize them.

You can buy Remove Ads in the Game's Settings. It removes all ads, and hints and continues are then free.

We also advertise the Game itself. To see how those ads perform, the Game's analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase) tells Google's advertising service, Google Ads, that the Game was installed and how it is played, together with your advertising identifier. This is used to measure and improve our advertising, not to build a profile of you for personalized ads. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland it only happens if you consent (see section 4).

4. Your Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland

When you first open the Game in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, it asks for your consent, using Google's consent tool, before the Game or our advertising partners store or access information on your device for personalized ads, ad measurement or analytics. You can consent, decline, or choose by purpose and by partner. Your choice is stored on your device and passed to our advertising partners in the standard IAB Transparency & Consent Framework format.

If you decline, the Game's analytics stays switched off, nothing is sent to measure our own advertising, and the ads you see are not personalized. Crash reports are still sent, so that we can fix problems (see section 10).

You can change your choice at any time in the Game: open Settings and tap Privacy Options.

5. Third-Party Services

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only with these service providers, which process it to run the features above, each under its own privacy policy:

Under some laws (such as California's), sharing information with advertising partners for personalized ads can count as "selling" or "sharing". You can opt out at any time with your device's ad settings described above. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our players and ourselves.

6. In-App Purchases

The Game offers one optional purchase, Remove Ads. Purchases are processed entirely by the App Store or Google Play, under their own terms and privacy policies. We receive confirmation of what was bought, never your payment information. That you have bought Remove Ads is remembered on your device, and the store's record of your purchases is used to restore it, for example on a new device.

The Game's analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase, section 5) records the purchase: the item, its price and currency, and the store's order number.

7. Apple and Google

Apple and Google may share anonymous crash reports and app analytics with us if you have chosen to share them with app developers in your device settings. If you test the Game through TestFlight, Apple may also share crash reports, usage information and any feedback you choose to send with us, as described in Apple's TestFlight terms. We use this information only to fix problems and improve the Game.

8. Children's Privacy

The Game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used the Game and you would like their information deleted, please contact us.

9. Data Retention

10. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EEA and UK, or California law), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your information, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent. Contact us to make a request; because the Game has no accounts, we may need an identifier from your device to find your data. Uninstalling the Game stops all collection.

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on your consent for analytics, ad measurement and personalized ads, and on our legitimate interest in keeping the Game stable and secure for crash reports.

11. Security and International Transfers

Data is sent over encrypted connections. Our service providers may process it in the United States and other countries, with the safeguards those providers put in place.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
